Once upon a time, in the bustling streets of Bombay, two visionaries stood at the crossroads of destiny. Their names—Pallonji Katgara and Jamshedji Dastoor—may not have echoed through the ages, but their legacy would resonate far beyond their wildest dreams.
It was the year 1900, a time when horse-drawn carriages still clattered along cobblestone paths, and the scent of ink lingered in the air. With a mere $75 clutched tightly in their calloused hands, Pallonji and Jamshedji embarked on a journey to shape the very fabric of logistics and supply chain in India.
But where did this modest sum come from? Enter Jeena bhai, an unassuming soul who lent them the money without hesitation. Jeena bhai, however, had one condition: the company would bear his name. And so, with gratitude and determination, they christened their venture—Jeena & Company.
